Testing Facilities

UNITECH is equipped with advanced testing facilities to ensure the reliability and performance of transformers and associated equipment. Our state-of-the-art testing procedures cover a wide range of parameters to verify the operational integrity of your equipment. Here’s a detailed overview of our testing facilities:

Testing Facilities:

  • Voltage Ratio Test - Ratio Meter

    • Details: Measures the voltage ratio between the primary and secondary windings of a transformer. This test is crucial for verifying that the transformer is providing the correct voltage levels according to its design specifications.
  • Winding Resistance - Resistance Meter

    • Details: Evaluates the resistance of the transformer windings to ensure they are within the specified limits. This helps in detecting issues like poor connections or winding faults that could affect performance.
  • No Load Loss and Current - Dimmerstat & Digital Power Analyzer

    • Details: Measures the power loss and current when the transformer is under no load conditions. This test helps in assessing the efficiency of the transformer and identifying any energy losses that may occur even without load.
  • Insulation Resistance - Megger

    • Details: Assesses the insulation resistance of the transformer windings and other components to ensure they are not compromised. High insulation resistance is critical for preventing electrical faults and ensuring safe operation.
  • Separate Source Voltage With Stand Test - HV Test Kit

    • Details: Tests the insulation strength of the transformer by applying a high voltage from a separate source. This test ensures that the transformer can withstand operational voltages and electrical stresses without failure.
  • Induced Over Voltage Test - Dimmerstat & Digital Power Analyzer

    • Details: Simulates over-voltage conditions to evaluate the transformer’s ability to handle temporary over-voltage situations. This helps in assessing the durability and safety of the transformer under stress conditions.
  • Vector Group Test - Test Bench

    • Details: Determines the vector group of the transformer, which indicates the phase difference between the primary and secondary windings. This test is essential for understanding the transformer's connection type and ensuring proper phase alignment in multi-transformer setups.
  • Load Loss & Percentage Impedance - Dimmerstat & Digital Power Analyzer

    • Details: Measures the load loss and impedance percentage of the transformer under load conditions. This test evaluates the efficiency and performance of the transformer, providing insights into energy losses and impedance characteristics.

Our comprehensive testing facilities ensure that each transformer and related equipment is thoroughly evaluated for performance, safety, and reliability. By employing advanced testing techniques and equipment, UNITECH guarantees that your equipment meets the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.
